Reigate Caves Open Day Dates - 2024

Reigate caves (which is actually mostly former sand mines) have 5 open days this year, bookings open around 4 weeks before the day and must be prebooked online.

11th May
8th June
13th July
10th August
14th September

A rare chance to get underground in a part of the country that doesn't have a huge amount to offer to us underground folk.

An interesting place to visit. There are three sections each with its own entrance. Two are either side of the main pedestrian ex-road tunnel and one from the moat of the old castle.

There is a tunnel under the waterfall in my back garden, never seen him in there. LOL

There's a chance on some of the dates you may be taken round the Barons Cave by me*

*You could probably request to transfer onto a tour with another guide if preferred....

We spent a few days driving a bypass tunnel there, about 3 years ago, great bunch to work with and the easiest tunnel we have ever dug.
